Wine & Chocolate

Sleepy Jean’s Confections and Jefferson Hill Vineyard and Guesthouse have combined our efforts to develop chocolate creations that include or are paired to Jefferson Hill Vineyard's various wines.  The chocolate items, such as wine fusions (featured in Mid West Living  Magazine's holiday gifts for under $50.00) and truffles may be purchased directly from Sleepy Jean's, Englewood Florist or at Jefferson Hill Vineyard and Guesthouse.

We also create made to order wine and chocolate gift baskets.  But, Kansas Law requires that they be purchased through Jefferson Hill Vineyard and Guesthouse because they contain wine.  They are available by calling Jefferson Hill Vineyared and Guesthouse at 913-796-6822 to purchase.

This is our newest combination!  An unbelievable burst of chocolate and fruit that is irresistible.  One bite will not suffice.  Jefferson Hill's Indian Summer Wine (90% Grape and 10% Elderberry) and Sleepy Jean's 68% dark chocolate is a combination made in heaven!  We have not met anyone that does not like this combination.  It is wonderful and is Sleepy Jean's favorite fusion.  You can eat it directly out of the jar, dip it in sweet crackers or warm and pour over your favorite frozen fruit! The options are endless. As one customer said after asking what he was going to do with it he said quietly “Hide it in the fridge!”

If you like a sweeter chocolate and wine, this will be the perfect combination for you!.  Jefferson Hill's Catawba (White) Wine and Sleepy Jean's 42% dark chocolate is a perfect blend of wine and chocolate.  Again, you will want to hide it so that you can eat every bite! 
Wine Truffle Assortments
Truffle Assortments are available, but due to the delicate nature of some of them, shipping is not recommended for all truffle types.  Please contact Sleepy Jean's to discuss your truffle order.  Available types include: Red Wine with 68% dark chocolate, Catawba cheesecake truffle, mid dark chocolate with Catawba white wine surrounded by 68% dark chocolate.   Other truffles are also available that do not include wine, including mint, cheesecake, raspberry, orange and other flavors that Sleepy Jean decides to make!  These are seasonal items, so some of the selections may not be available during all times of the year.
